Council meeting requested by us on 25 February 2026

The basis is our Request to convene an additional meeting of the municipal council, in order to: Important projects can be consulted in a timely manner, including: Application for LEADER funding by 20 March 2026. In this meeting, we would like to focus on the following topics:

• Application for a Tourist information board to A3 or A48 for the Monastery of Maria Hilf, the meaning Katharina Kaspers and the attractiveness Dernbach to make visible and LEADER funding to use.
• Appreciation of St. Catherine Kasper and support for Monastery of Maria Hilf in the Jubilee Year of the Poor Servants of Jesus Christ through visible actions and involvement of associations, citizens.
• Establishment of a publicly accessible Bicycle repair station, Ideally on Town hall square or on station as a building block of a future Mobility station.
• Establishment of a Electric distribution box at Laurentiusplatz, in order to be able to carry out festivals and events of clubs more safely and easily.
• Improving road safety on cycling and hiking trails on Dernbacher Gemarkung (crossroads L312 and K148).

With these applications we connect Road safety, sustainable mobility, Strengthening volunteering and the Preservation of cultural heritage our place. Maintenance of the orchard "zur Heilborn"
We want to make sure that the Streuorstwiese ‘zur Heilborn’ as a compensatory area professionally maintained and the necessary Fruit tree pruning organised will. Closed box with FI protection and sockets near the sports field, VDE-compliant, costs less than 1,500 €.
Benefits: Secure supply for club parties, citizen breakfasts and events without extension cable risks.

⁇ Orchard "zur Heilborn"
Ensuring the proper pruning of fruit trees and the care of the Compensation area ‘zur Heilborn’ by the local community in close coordination with the fruit and horticultural association.

Benefits: Preservation of the ecological function of the compensation area, strengthening of biodiversity and landscape, clear responsibility of the community for care and durability.
