"Together for Dernbach" in constructive exchange on a sustainable village

How can we develop our village in a sustainable way? To this end, the party-politically independent electorate group ‘Gemeinsam für Dernbach’ had all citizens in favour of the 13. Invited in December. A colourful bouquet of themes and ideas was brought up in the ‘Luda’ restaurant. In addition, the electorate informed about the next steps: She would like to take up the multifaceted proposals of open exchange and bring them to the municipal council. In order to nominate the candidates, all citizens will be invited separately to a so-called constellation meeting in January next year.

Cosimo Jankowitsch, the initiator of the voters' group, warmly welcomed the participants and introduced the voters' group with their goals. One of them is transparent and open civic participation. The discussion evening will serve as a prelude and bring a breath of fresh air for the political commitment in Dernbach. Mr. Jankowitsch recalled the village moderation 2017, the results of which must be taken up and realized. He stressed that family-friendly, generation-friendly and future-oriented structures are particularly important to the electorate, which should meet the needs of the people in the community.

Afterwards, the participants actively discussed in small groups what their own ideas and wishes they would like to give ‘Together for Dernbach’ on the way. They then exchanged views in plenary, highlighting the following: More information is needed from the local council, which should make its processes and results more transparent in order to involve citizens more. It is important to focus on equal opportunities for all Dernbach residents and to integrate newcomers more closely. Concrete proposals were made for this, as well as for youth activities and opportunities for young and old to meet. Other and also digital communication channels could also promote a positive culture of dispute and citizen engagement. It is particularly important to rely on modern media with low-threshold offers. For a village worth living in, contribute to preserving the vibrant club culture, calming traffic, promoting tourism and focusing more on future-oriented action.

Through this constructive exchange, it became clear that the ideas and concerns of the participating citizens coincide with the goals of the electorate group. C. Jankowitsch thanked for the good contributions to the discussion and invited to support the electorate. Interested parties are welcome to contact us personally or via www.gemeinsam-fuer-dernbach.de
